The Commercial Director

  • Develops, plans and implements commercial plans and strategies based on company objectives with the main goal of supporting and accelerating growth
  • Is responsible for landing new clients and implementing new customer acquisition strategies, in line with the overall company objective of building global partnerships
  • Understands the requirements of existing clients and is responsible for client retention
  • Establishes and manages long-term relationships with stakeholders and clients
  • Is responsible for managing and tracking commercial financial goals, margins and budgets
  • Manages and motivates the Client Lead team, being accountable for team results and providing them with professional development opportunities
  • Translates company objectives and targets into annual plans with the management team
  • Tracks, measures and analyses targets with commercial KPI metrics

The Action

As the Commercial Director, you are someone who thinks non-traditionally, comes with creative approaches and wants to move fast. 

You have commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset in addition to being highly organised, a self-starter, detail-orientated and solution-driven. 

You have outstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. 

You are motivated to lead a young commercial team, supporting their personal growth towards goals and job targets. 

You have at least 10 years experience with a proven track record as a commercial director, with at least 5 years experience in senior leadership positions. You have experience working closely together with finance and operations, with hands on experience in creating reports and managing budgets. Experience in the US market is a plus.
